Dr. Santhosh Kumar Kannath

  • Dr. Santhosh Kumar Kannath is Additional professor in the department of imaging sciences and interventional radiology with more than 10 years of experience. His clinical focus is interventional neuroradiology and his research interests include neurovascular imaging and endovascular treatment of various neurovascular disease. He has ongoing projects related to development of hardware in neuro-interventional radiology and artificial intelligence in acute stroke imaging.
Dr. Jayadevan Enakshy Rajan

Additional Professor
Department of Imaging Services and Interventional Radiology

Dr. Jayadevan Enakshy Rajan

  • Dr. Jayadevan Enakshy Rajan, Additional Professor in the department of Imaging Sciences and Interventional Radiology with more than 10 years of experience. Dr. Jayadevan holds a vast experience in diagnostic angiography, magnetic resonance imaging and interventional radiology. An expert in interventional procedures including endovascular treatment of arterio-venous malformations, aneurysm coiling and flow-diverter treatment for aneurysms,he has ongoing research projects related to development of hardware in neuro-interventional radiology.
Dr. Manikandan S

Professor
Neuroanesthesia

Dr. Manikandan S

  • Holds key expertise and experience in the perioperative management of Neuro vascular disease over 15 years. Dr. Manikandan’s team provides anesthesia for diagnostic procedures like MRI and digital subtraction angiography (DSA) before planning surgery, During surgery the neuroanesthesiologists are involved in various aspects of care to optimize the systemic and cerebral hemodynamics, afford neuroprotection and perform indocyanine green (ICG) angiography. Various advanced monitoring aids like processed electroencephalogram (EEG), cerebral oximetry is used intraoperatively to prevent cerebral ischemia. In the postoperative period, the team is involved in providing pain relief, maintain cerebral circulation and manage postoperative diagnostic procedures to check adequacy of flow.
Dr. Ramshekar N. Menon

Additional Professor
Department of Neurology

Dr. Ramshekar N. Menon

  • Dr. Ramshekhar N Menon is program in charge of Cognition & Behavioral Neurology subsection of the Dept of Neurology, SCTIMST. His work largely focuses on integration between multimodality neuroimaging with cognitive performance in patients with early cognitive deficits such as mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and early stages of dementia. Dr Menon has completed research projects and published papers on brain volumetry, tensor imaging, MR spectroscopy, brain perfusion imaging and task-free as well as task-based fMRI in MCI and dementia. His team's work on resting state fMRI and correlation with neuropsychology test scores, correlating between the two measures paved the way for integrative research into studying the effects of dysregulated brain perfusion in patients with dural AV fistulas on brain network connectivity and cerebral functioning. His current work focuses on classification based approaches combining various imaging measures to predict cognitive trends longitudinally in MCI and dementia.
Dr. B. Jayanand Sudhir

Associate Professor
Department of Neurosurgery

Dr. B. Jayanand Sudhir

  • Dr. Jayanand Sudhir, MBBS, MCh, is a Cerebrovascular Neurosurgeon; specializes in vascular diseases of the brain including aneurysms, arterio-venous malformations, Moyamoya disease and cerebral bypass procedures. Dr. Jayanand has received training for treatment of Moyamoya disease and cerebral bypass surgeryat Hokkaido University Hospital and Teishinkai Hospital, Sapporo, Japan. His research focus is on Moyamoya disease, application of computational fluid dynamics in cerebrovascular diseases, mechano-biology of Moyamoya disease.
